The 70/20/10 Methodology

• 70% Experiential (On-the-Job): The majority of your engineering competence comes from solving real-world problems, leading projects, and fixing site issues. This is where you prove "application" of knowledge.
• 20% Social (Peer Learning): Learning from others through mentoring, attending design reviews, or shadowing senior engineers. This demonstrates your ability to work within a professional hierarchy.
• 10% Formal (Training): Classroom learning, webinars, and academic courses. While essential for theoretical foundations, formal training alone is insufficient for Chartership.

Reflection is Key

Simply logging hours is not enough. For every activity generated by this planner, you must record a Reflective Statement: What did you learn? How have you applied it?
