Engineering Management Frameworks
Transitioning from a technical specialist to a technical leader is one of the hardest career steps for engineers. Technical logic is binary (0 or 1), but people management is nuanced.

Why Use Structured Models?
Using established frameworks allows engineers to apply their analytical mindset to "soft" problems:
- Strategy (SWOT / PESTLE): Essential for demonstrating Strategic Leadership (UK-SPEC C) required for CEng. It forces you to look outside your immediate team to the wider business context.
- Conflict (SBI / COIN): These models depersonalize feedback, allowing you to address behavior without damaging relationships.
- Decision Making (OODA / WRAP): Helps avoid "Analysis Paralysis" in safety-critical or high-pressure environments.
